Terms of use

What GOMDecom is

GOMDecom aggregates and interprets public regulatory data for informational purposes. It is not the authoritative BSEE/BOEM record, not legal or investment advice, and not a representation that any contract, tender, or work opportunity exists or is unawarded. Verify obligations, dates, and values against official sources before acting.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is.” Source datasets change, contain errors, and are republished by the government without notice. We work to interpret them accurately but do not warrant completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, GOMDecom is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the service.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Prices are in USD. An Opportunity Brief is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. It includes 30 days of material-change monitoring.
• Radar renews monthly until canceled. You can cancel any time from your account page; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Launch prices are locked for the first 12 months while the subscription remains active. Future price increases never apply to an already-active subscription.
• Plan upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the next renewal date.
• Access covers one named user unless agreed otherwise. Contact us for team access.

Payments and refunds

• Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment data and applicable sales tax; we never see your card details.
• Opportunity Briefs: if a brief does not match its description, tell us within 14 days and we refund it.
• Subscription payments may be refunded within 14 days when the service materially fails or does not match its description. Refunds are not available after substantial use, systematic access, scraping or bulk downloading, except where required by law.
• Refunds revoke the associated access. To request one, use the contact form with your account email.

Acceptable use

Do not resell, republish, or bulk-redistribute GOMDecom interpretations (scores, briefs, groupings) without permission. The underlying BSEE records are public and remain free for anyone to use from the source.

• Member access is for interactive use by the named user. Automated scraping, crawling, or systematic bulk downloading of the member area is prohibited.
• Fair-use rate limits apply to member requests. We log member data requests (see Privacy) and may suspend accounts that circumvent limits or share credentials.
• Exports are watermarked to the purchasing account and are licensed for internal business use only.

Privacy

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). We also use PostHog for product analytics and session replay: it records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, navigation) so we can find and fix friction. Every input field is masked in recordings, so passwords, emails and anything you type are never captured. Signed-in members are identified by an internal account id, not by email. We do not sell data.
• Contact form. When you send a message, your name, email, company, and message are delivered to us by Web3Forms and stored in our mailbox so we can reply.
• Signup details. If you request access, we store your email address and use it only for the purpose you gave it: replying to you and sending product updates.
• Member accounts. If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (or, with Google sign-in, no password at all). We store your plan and purchase history (written by Paddle, our payment processor) to control access. Transactional emails (confirmation links, password resets, receipts, briefings) are delivered via Brevo and Paddle.
• Member usage logs. We log member data requests (page, time, and a truncated hash of the IP address) to enforce fair-use limits and detect bulk scraping. Logs are used for abuse prevention and product improvement, not marketing.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not run advertising trackers.
• We do not require an account to browse this site.

Your choices

You can browse with analytics blocked (browser settings or an extension) without losing any functionality. To have your contact or signup data deleted, send a request through the contact form and we will remove it.

Public regulatory data

The operator names, leases, and facilities shown in the product come from public BSEE datasets published by the U.S. government. Corrections should be directed to the source agency; we refresh from the source daily.

Disclaimer

• GOMDecom is not the authoritative BSEE/BOEM record. Always verify against the cited government source before acting.
• BSEE cost figures (P50/P70/P90) are regulatory exposure estimates, not tender values or contractor revenue.
• No tender, procurement, or contract-award data is monitored. “No work start observed” never means “no contract awarded.”
• Commercial scores, confidence values, and opportunity groupings are our interpretation of the public record. Each brief keeps the underlying records visible so you can check that interpretation.
